POSITION SUMMARY
The Depot Service Technician will test, diagnose, and repair computer printers and other electronic equipment. Provide technical phone support on a wide variety of printers/copiers/electro-mechanical devices.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Test, diagnose, and repair electronic and mechanical equipment
- Provide technical phone support to field service technicians and customers
- Complete necessary paperwork for equipment/parts being repaired/shipped
- Coordinate toner/consumable replenishment
- Earn manufacture product certification through training as assigned
- Work in a team environment, and across departments
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Education/Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, OR
- minimum one year of experience in the field of computer printer/copier repair, OR
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems/Microsoft Office
- Ability to Multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong electronic and mechanical ability
- Effective organizational skills
- Able to earn manufacture product certification through training as assigned
- Ability to work in a team environment, and across departments
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Regular and consistent attendance
