POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for leading and growing sales for assigned areas. Oversees sales force who is responsible for sales of company products and services; responsible for executing the sales strategy to drive growth of company revenue and attainment of profit goals.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with ELT to develop vision.
    • Executes the vision for growth.
    • Directs sales strategy and activities for company products and services.
    • Collaborate with ELT to determine quotas.
    • Monitors industry and competitor’s products sales tactics and marketing tactics; makes recommendations for course adjustments based on analysis of trends.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates the efforts of 4-10 Account Executives toward attainment of goals and objectives.
    • Develops staff.
      • Provides advice and guidance to staff regarding sales methods and processes.
      • Identifies developmental and growth opportunities for staff members.
      • Ensures appropriate training provided to staff.
    • Provides coaching, communication, feedback and completes formal performance appraisals for each assigned staff member.
    • Participates in the selection process for new employees to ensure adequate territory coverage and bench strength.
    • Assist staff in responding to RFPs and delivering sales presentations to clients and closes sales.
    • Assists team with client negotiations.
    • Ensures the team gains new account penetration and achieve distribution of new products and services.
    • Ensures the team develops and grows client relationships to accelerate the company’s vision.
  • Works closely with Product Management and Marketing leaders to ensure products and marketing strategies are in line with the needs of the customer. 
  • Preparation of sales activity reports and presents to senior management.
  • Develops and manages sales operating budget.
    • Tracks and reports budget attainment.
    • Forecasts revenue for assigned areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in sales marketing or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales and/or sales management
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role in technical solution sales
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and act upon improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience in executive-level strategic thinking as well as keen analytical thought processes
  • Autonomous decision-making authority
  • Advanced interpersonal, presentation, communication and leadership skills
  • Proficient in time management, prioritizing, and multi-tasking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (M365)
  • May require travel 20-30% of the time
     
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Proficient in ConnectWise
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM
  • Managed IT sales leadership
