POSITION SUMMARY
The Depot Service Technician will test, diagnose, and repair computer printers and other electronic equipment.  Provide technical phone support on a wide variety of printers/copiers/electro-mechanical devices.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES

  • Test, diagnose, and repair electronic and mechanical equipment
  • Provide technical phone support to field service technicians and customers
  • Complete necessary paperwork for equipment/parts being repaired/shipped
  • Coordinate toner/consumable replenishment
  • Earn manufacture product certification through training as assigned
  • Work in a team environment, and across departments
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education/Experience Requirements:
    • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, OR
    • minimum one year of experience in the field of computer printer/copier repair, OR
    • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems/Microsoft Office
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong electronic and mechanical ability
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Able to earn manufacture product certification through training as assigned
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and across departments
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular and consistent attendance
